Welcome To The City Of Collinwood Tennessee

Collinwood is a small town with a friendly atmosphere nestled near the beautiful Natchez Trace Parkway, in Wayne County, Tennessee.

The Natchez Trace Parkway is a 444 mile historic footpath that extends through portions of Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee. It was heavily used by Native Americans and settlers in the late 1700's and early 1800's and is now a historic attraction providing many recreational activities to residents and tourists alike.

The City of Collinwood encompasses a land area of approximately 1792 acres or 2.8 square miles within the borders of Wayne County which is the second largest county in the State of Tennessee.

Wayne County consists of 741 square miles and is home to Clifton, Collinwood, and the city of Waynesboro. Collinwood is the second largest incorporated community and third in population (1,024) in Wayne County according to the 2000 Census.

We are conveniently located 25 miles north of Florence, Alabama and 12 miles south of Waynesboro. The City lies approximately 110 miles southwest of Nashville and 72 miles from Columbia.
