The Parks and Recreation Department offers opportunities to improve fitness, social, and competitive skills through exercise and sports, to stimulate the mind through education and cultural experiences, and to inspire civic pride through community-based activities, citywide celebrations, and volunteer operations.

As steward of park lands and facilities, Parks and Recreation seeks to retain and improve the beauty of the City's parks and other natural landscapes while planning the best presentation and future use of those places.

We invite you to experience the sense of community you get when visiting a Collinwood park. Get involved with your neighborhood park today. Collinwood Dixie Youth / Little League Baseball

Baseball season April - July

Ages 4,5,6, up thru 13-14

Games are played at the Dixie youth park located next to the city pool complex.

The Park includes 4 ball fields, bleachers, a modern concession stand, and ADA compliant public restrooms.

Collinwood City Pool Complex

The Collinwood City Pool opens memorial day weekend, closes the 2nd weekend in August. (Dates may vary) There are always 2 life guards on duty. The pool facilities include a concession stand, ADA compliant restrooms and both a full size pool and a kiddy wading pool.

Admission Rates for the City Pool

• Daily pass:$4.00/day
• Individual season pass: $80.00
• Family Pass: $150.00 for up to five immediate family members
• Pool Party: $75.00/for 2 hours and $20.00/ hour there after
• Summer School: $40.00/child and $30.00/per child in same family there after.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Tuesday and Thursday - 10:00 am - 10:00 pm

Ralph Hughes Sr. Memorial Park

The downtown city park includes playground equipment, a pavilion, picnic tables and lots of green open space.
